WEBBER CHALKS UP ANOTHER WIN WITH THE $100.9 MILLION HILL COUNTY PROJECT
Webber chalked up another Hill County win with their latest in Hillsboro, Texas. Nicely tying into their existing projects along the corridor, this project includes extensive landscaping, Intelligent Traffic System (ITS), and electrical packages, and consists of seven (7) miles of roadway improvements converting a four (4) lane divided asphalt highway to six (6) concrete lanes with shoulders and upgraded concrete frontage roads.
Specifics include:
- 1,350,000 cubic yards of roadway excavation
- 174,000 tons of asphalt mainlanes, frontage roads, and detours
- 732,000 square yards of mainlanes and frontage road paving
- 129,000 square feet of bridge deck
- 157,000 square feet of retaining walls
- 14,800 linear feet of bridge beams
- 51,000 linear feet of drainage
It is expected to be completed 36 months after Notice to Proceed (NTP).
